Man fatally shot in the chest in Queens

A Queens man was shot dead early Saturday, cops said. The victim, 22, was blasted in the torso at Elmhurst Avenue and Elbertson Street in Elmhurst around 12:45 am, cops said. He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The motive for the shooting was unknown. The victim has not been identified.
